movie! It's to bad that Julia Child died in 2002 or else I would be devoted to meeting her. Maybe I will have to meet Julie.

Butter
I made my first food without a recipe! My Mom taught me how to make macaroni and cheese and it was delicious! I think the butter made it. I quote from the Julie and Julia Movie: "You can never have to much butter!"

Dinner
Last night I made Dinner! First I made popovers (recipe from Real Simple) which are similar to yorkshire pudding, then I made spahgetti (my dad cooked the meat and sauce) which was served with the popovers. Then for dessert, I made fruit salad, and chocolate dipped strawberries. I had this idea-of course after I made the strawberries-that after I melted the choclolate and dipped them, I drizzled melted white chocolate over them. I guess ther's always next time!
The Volcano
We just made "the volcano" a delicous fizzy drink my friend and I invented ourselves! You make it with:
- 1 can of gingerale
- 1 can of bacardi strawberry mix (no alcohol)
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 3 cups of water
- Combine the ingredients and mix until evreything is dissovled.

Welcome
Cooking didn’t really come natural to me. One time, I was
cooking a frozen pizza in the microwave, and set the cooking timer on my
microwave. It turned out that instead of setting the timer, I had pressed cook,
thus blowing the fuse on the microwave because it had been running for 20
minutes. I think I became inspired when I watched a movie called: “Julie and
Julia”, about a famous French chef named Julia Child. I have yet to buy her
cookbook “The art of French cooking” but am planning to in the very near future.
If you are interested in buying it visit: www.chapters.ca
and search “The art of French cooking” There are generally 3 volumes and although I haven’t read them yet I’m sure
that they are all fantastic!
